Chocolate Scotcheroos!

http://allrecipes.com/Recipe/Chocolate-Scotcheroos/Detail.aspx

My friend Ashley(and neighbor!) had a friend that made these on her birthday-they were so good I stalked a recipe on here til I found one! I have yet to make them but I want a reason too!

Super Easy!

I am super generous with the garlic!!! We paired it with some roast potatoes and veg!

White Cheese Chicken Lasagna!

http://allrecipes.com/Recipe/White-Cheese-Chicken-Lasagna/Detail.aspx

Tried this about a week ago. I didn't really use too much of the Ricotta-not a lover of it anyway! I just used one box of spinach and thought that was plenty! I enjoyed the flavor of the sauce-how could you not with that much butter and cheese? I think next time I will try to just make the sauce and mix it with Rigatoni noodles for more a past bake=easier for the boys to eat!

Stuffed Taco Shells!

I am going to trial these tonight-I have Manicotti shells on hand so I am using those to get rid of them-and I do not like beans so I am omitting them!!! They sound yummy and I hope the boys agree! (although I doubt Drew will even try!)

Banana Crumb Muffins!!!

Banana Crumb Muffins

Submitted to ALLRECIPES by Lisa Kreft

  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 3 bananas, mashed
  • 3/4 cup white sugar
  • 1 egg, lightly beaten
  • 1/3 cup butter, melted
  • 1/3 cup packed brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 1/8 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 tablespoon butter

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C). Lightly grease 10 muffin cups, or line with muffin papers.
  2. In a large bowl, mix together 1 1/2 cups flour, baking soda, baking powder and salt. In another bowl, beat together bananas, sugar, egg and melted butter. Stir the banana mixture into the flour mixture just until moistened. Spoon batter into prepared muffin cups.
  3. In a small bowl, mix together brown sugar, 2 tablespoons flour and cinnamon. Cut in 1 tablespoon butter until mixture resembles coarse cornmeal. Sprinkle topping over muffins.
  4. Bake in preheated oven for 18 to 20 minutes, until a toothpick inserted into center of a muffin comes out clean.
Note* I stored them in zip lock back over night and the "crumble" turned soft. Still very good but didnt have that "crumble" experience. Maybe make and eat the day you bake-but not that hard to do esp if you have company!!!

ENJOY!!!!!!!!!!!

Frosted Banana Bars

I found this recipe off of this ladies blog... www.flythroughourwindow.com

http://content.yudu.com/Library/A17yuj/FrostedBananaBars/resources/index.htm?referrerUrl=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.yudu.com%2Fitem%2Fdetails%2F56751%2FFrosted-Banana-Bars

I think all the neighbors really enjoyed them! Take a LOT of powdered sugar for the icing...
and I only used the 8 oz of cream cheese!

Enjoy!
