Frozen Key Lime Pie

Crust

1 1/4 cups fine graham cracker crumbs(about 20 squares)
1/3 cup butter or margarine, melted
2 Tbsp. sugar

Filling

1 can(14oz) sweetened condensed milk
2 Tbsp. freshly grated lime peel
1/2 cup lime juice
2 pints lemon sorbet, slightly softened
Green and yellow food coloring( I only use green!)
Topping

1 cup heavy whipping cream
1/4 cup confectioners sugar

Garnish: Lime Wedge

1. Crust- Coast a 9 inch pie plate with nonstick spray. Mix ingredients in a bowl until blended. Press over bottom and sides. Freeze for 5 mins.

2. Filling-Stir first three ingredients in a medium bowl. Add sorbet. Stir briskly( I use electric beaters!) until smooth. Stir in food colors. Spread into crust( I POUR into the crust as mine pretty much becomes liquid all over again)

3. Freeze 6 hours( I prefer to make my night before!)

4. Beat cream and sugar with mixer on high speed until soft peaks form. Serve with pie and garnish with lime!

Enjoy!!!

Frosted Banana Bars

I found this recipe off of this ladies blog... www.flythroughourwindow.com

http://content.yudu.com/Library/A17yuj/FrostedBananaBars/resources/index.htm?referrerUrl=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.yudu.com%2Fitem%2Fdetails%2F56751%2FFrosted-Banana-Bars

I think all the neighbors really enjoyed them! Take a LOT of powdered sugar for the icing...
and I only used the 8 oz of cream cheese!

Enjoy!
